Bakura is a fictional planet of the Star Wars Expanded Universe that is prominently featured in the Kathy Tyers novel The Truce at Bakura.
Bakura is a small, pastoral planet on the outskirts of known space, just outside the Modell Sector. Bakura was the site of the truce between the Empire and the New Republic. Bakura was also the site of the Battle of Bakura against the reptilian Ssi-ruuk.
Bakura's only native sentient species is the Kurtzen, although its most populous sentient species is Human. They are also known for their repulsorlift industry though the people are quite distrustful of droids.
